Star for Life have prioritized three areas of work where we can make the most difference:
In-School Programme
By working together with the schools and communities, Star For Life reaches out and targets students with its
HIV/AIDS/STD teaching programmes. These programmes are fully integrated with existing teaching subjects.
VCT Programme
The only way to know for sure if you are infected or not is to be tested. But HIV testing, or Voluntary Counselling
and Testing (VCT), is a sensitive issue in many environments. Star for Life therefore offer mobile testing facilities
in areas where the students are.
Out-of-School Programme
Star for Life is currently working on the concepts of vocational and skills education, designed for out- of-school
youths to develop their skills and prepare them for the future.
