Star for Life operates in two countries in southern Africa: South Africa and Namibia. These countries are two of the countries worst affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic with national HIV/AIDS averages of 18.1% (South Africa) and 15.3% (Namibia). In each country Star for Life has offices with employees and local boards. Our main office in Sweden focuses on fund-raising and strategic planning.
At the beginning of 2009, Star for Life also started a partnership with the Swedish organization Sri Lankas Barns Vänner (“Friends of Sri Lanka’s children”) to run a joint programme in Sri Lanka. Visit their webpage to read more.
